haha it was nightmare but it wasnt sandifords fault it was there suplyer sending her wrong discs all time , does anyone no how to get hold of a program to make maps ive seen one on welkom montesa site but wont let me download oh and some crazy maps if possible cheers
hy guys just to let you no i finally got my kit working today all along it was the wrong discs i kept getting sent im now using 2008 disc and happy now
i thought you sust it barfy there my settings were different slightly on flow control mine said none so changed it to xon/xoff but unfort no good still same fault
hy guys i think im getting closer lol , ive bought a old laptop connected all up but get this error does anyone no what it means (COM init.(B)F/B data error) hopefully this is the problem cheers ste
just a chance does anyone no much about laptops i do have a old one with serial port on xp BUT it wont read this disc it will only read music cds any idea before i buy another cheers ste
ye the thing im unsure about is when i go into device manager ,ports, mine allways says communication port 1, and 2 and when i plug serial port in nothing else pops up does yours , if you dont mind me asking what make laptop do you have i might buy one as its prob my pc's on xp
sorry again barfy but when you plug your serial into computor and go into device manager does it show up if so what does it say, if yours shows up i think im in need of a laptop cheers ste
its probibly really easy im just so unlucky haha. hey if anyone has a spare 5mins please check out the manual and look at page 22 about the ports what does it mean in the box something about marked with a x , is that my problem maybe need a laptop do i
i think im getting closer i defo have wrong program so put the 07 on but the other problem when i plug my serial into back of pc and go into device manager it dosnt show so ive been to 2 computor shops and they said i need to install the drivers for the leads before it will work so im guessing thats my main problem does this make any sence guys cheers for all info its helping me so much thanks

hy guys sorry to be a pain but im still stuck ive phoned sandifords and said i think i have the wrong disc and she said i shud have the right one but theres something wrong ive done everything and i still cant get it to work .
ah great ill get onto sandifords just few other things , just been on bike now and there must be two maps on her when i swap over is it safe to do when engine running . and other its a twin map body how on the program do i select two different maps .cheers ste
just checked the 07 one and its exacly the same and my maps deffo dont end in DM there E2P i wonder if they give me wrong software because no matter what i try it dosnt work
