just wundering if anyone has changed the water pump seals on 4rt as i think water is getting in oil and bearings for clutch regards ste

hy so all the black rubber tubing pipes that come from several parts of engine to redirect all up to face stock regards ste

oh i dont like the sound of this lol, recently ive stripped bike down to powdercoat so totaly drained rad when i rebuilt it last week i just filled rad up until it filled but i think your supose to run it to get fluid round then check level again which i never did yet one other thing the oil that cum from bike is in a jug and its not white now also if there was water in it then it wud sit on top of oil which it isnt so with anylook its ok but any ideas which route to take regards ste

if it is water pump is it just a seal change or more to it and ruffly how much regards ste

not sure thats the first thing ill check the thing i dont get is there was hardly any oil come out would it do it any harm putting some other oil in and running it abit to see again

i was hopeing you wernt going to say that it could be coolant cos that would mean water pump seal and shaft are gone could it just be the oil has had its life because i havnt changed it for over 20hrs use

hy is this normal iv just dropped the gear oil on my 4rt and its like a white colour i havnt changed it for a while and cant remeber what colour it was when i put it in but it was motul there isnt any extra oil just normal amount so it shudnt be the water pump water passing

hy all me again is it a big job to fully take engine out because im thinking of getting frame powder coated but i looked at bike today and it looks like a maze with all wires and pipes under fuel tank regards ste

hy thats great help thanks im a novise but want to try and strip it myself so i can learn the only probs is the tappets and cam chain how do i reset these and can i strip it down to see if i need a barrel and worry about the cam chain and tappets when rebuilding regards ste

hy after all this time and posts ive narrowed it down to a nocking piston so im goin to change it with a friend but just have a querie he said you have to take engine fully out to change piston is this right or do you do it in bike and how will i find out the settings for the cam chain and tappets i dont think there in manual regards ste

i used a old silicone tube but no good like so that bronze bushing you just have to wack it down
