Hello to all. I would like to know the thread spec for a '92 Beta Zero flywheel. Need to get a puller and not sure what it is.

Yes, I know. They aren't getting back to me very quickly, and I thought I'd try on here as there would be a vast amount of experience and knowledge as this site seems to be worldwide as opposed to local West Coast. Thanks

I just got a '92 Zero that has no rear brake setup. Actually, the caliper was there but broken in half. I would like to know if a '94 Techno setup will fit the '92 Zero. Bike still has the disc and pedal, but nothing else. Also wondering about a coolant leak that seems to be coming from behind the flywheel. Haven't been able to take off flywheel because I don't have a puller for it. Anyone know the thread specs for a puller? I live on the West Coast of Canada.

Hi. Sorry if my reply is a bit messed up. Don't know if I've done this right. My 2002 SY250 Long Ride was running horribly at the end of my last weekend. I had gone through quite a bit of water with it, and it was acting like it ran out of fuel. When I got it home, I found the air filter full of dirt and mud and soaked with water. Had to take the carb off and clean it out and after cleaning the filter, I laid a bead of silicone between the airbox and fender in a pattern like an arrow to prevent the water thrown from the rear tire getting into the airbox. Used some grease on the fender to keep it from sticking to that part, and cleaned and scuffed the airbox so the silicone would stick to it. Haven't used it on a ride since, but I think that will be the solution. Also watch where you're spraying the bike with water after your rides. Keep it out of the exhaust and airbox areas.

Was just out for a three day weekend trip. Went through lots of water and mud, and the last day I thought I had a fuel leak or forgot to fill the gas tank. Bike acted like it was running out of gas and when I choked it and went to reserve, it started and ran okay. When I got home, I power washed it and then ran it to dry it out. It would not accelerate and then died. When I took the tank and fender off for access to the air filter, it had a lot of mud and water in it! Took out air filter and the airbox had a good puddle in it. Took off carb, and it had muddy water throughout. DEFINITELY recommend checking air filter evry day and bringing a spare with you. I saw a in a post that a triangle of silicone recommended to be applied to rear fender to deflect mud/water from getting to the top of the airbox. I strongly recommend this as well, and don't blast the pressure washer up the rear fender from the back of the bike. Your riding conditions can certainly affect how contaminated your air filter gets.

Hello all. New to this site and lots of great information! What I'd like information on is where to get a half decent manual for my 2002 Scorpa SY250. I got a piece of c**p printout with he bike when I bought it almost 2 years ago, but it's as described. ANY help would be appreciated. Surely, this company would have published something better than what I have as a document for maintenance/repair. Also looking for a TYZ250 manual as I know the engine is the same as this bike. I do know they are RARE! Thanks!
