Hello all! I need to have my Fantic 200 crank rebuilt! I've seen a few MAZZUCCHELLI con rods available for the Fantic 240. Can anyone confirm if the con rod is the same in 240 and 200? Thanks

Hi I had this problem too, it started soon after I had fitted a new (black) ignition coil when the original failed. I spoke to Bill Pye about the problem who questioned whether I had a blue or black coil fitted. I informed him that I had the black one and he stated that he had stopped selling these as there had been a number of people having reverse running issues. He told me to buy a blue and change it. I did this and have never had the problem since.

Hi can anyone advise what the dimensions/part number is for the Fantic 200 head bearing? I'd like toi buy one from my bearing supplier but am unsure which one to get? thanks

Hello All, I've noticed a few pictures of Fantic 200's on this website that have very smart seat covers with 'Fantic' printed at the rear. Any idea where they come from? thanks

I have the coil in my hand. 3 terminals plus the HT cable connector Earth to G = 7.75Mohms Earth to C = Open Circuit C to G = Open circuit C to HT = Open Circuit G to HT = 7.63Mohms Earth to HT = 3.2kohms Seems like the coil is duff then? thanks

Unfortunately my bike doesn't have it's original loom anymore can you tell me which HT coil terminals these resistances are between? thanks

Sorry one other question, I would like to replace the fork oil in the Fantic 200. Could anyone advise what quantity of 10W I should use? thanks

Hello there, I'm new to this forum but am hoping that someone might be able to give me some pointers regarding the failure of my ignition. I only used the bike a couple of weeks back without trouble, but I tried starting it this weekend to find that it would not run. After some basic tests I found that I have no spark! I've disconnected the stop switch to illiminate that but still no luck. I've also checked the wiring through and it appears ok. The HT coil is a DANSI type with three terminals earth, C and G and I suspect this might be a problem as it appears to have odd resistance measurements. Could someone advise what measurements I should see. Unfortunately i don't yet have a flywheel puller so cannot gain any further access at this time. Are there any tests that I can perform from the cable end? thanks in advance for any assistance given. Robert
