I've got Talon Alloys from sammy miller and they are excellent! No terribly cheap unfortunately but worth every penny. Fantastic grip and feel. My feet used to slip off the standard sherco ones quite a lot in the mud and rain. I'm in the Scottish highlands so mud is the standard surface and rain is the standard weather for 10 months of the year! Scott.

I'm no expert frazer but you could try a lighter oil in the forks. This should help with easier compression.
