In the process of cleaning and tarting up the bike and noticed that I'm missing one of the blue caps that cover the top of the forks. pic I can't see it being much of a problem but should I replace it? In the process of replacing the front mudguard and when unscrewing one of the two bolts that hold it on, one of the screw heads snapped leaving it stuck in the thread. Not sure how I'm going to get that out yet. There seems quite a few rusty old bolts on the bike. I'm going to replace the rear mudguard but it looks like its melted a little against the silencer. pic Is it worth replacing or is this likely to happen again?

copemech - Will 2002 onwards mudguards fit my 2001?

Looked at it today and it has 'O' and 'R' on the lever. Mine, which I now believe is 2001, pointing to the rear wheel is on, pointing to the floor is off and pointing to the front wheel is reserve. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks for info. Phill, how does a newbie check that? Will that make a difference to either of the front mudguards fitting? The 2001 is more expensive.

OK thanks. I didn't think it was 2004. Will either of these front mudguard fit? 2001 2002 Onwards Is it just the decal that's different? Are they pretty much the same fit?

Hi, I've recently bought a 2004 Sherco 290. This is my first trials bike so this is will be obvious to most. If I'm sat on the bike looking down at the fuel pipe, which way is on, off and reserve? Thanks in advance!
