  1. haha .. must be the good marijuana we have here honestly I just took those pics for fun at first, but I did drive around the block and it was very sketchy... gonna get a hitch and a motorcycle hitch carrier. It will still be odd to hang that off the back of my little civic, but not as insane as putting the front wheel in the hatch cheers
  2. I haven't actually transported the bike that way .. was just thinking of ways to use my small car so I won't have to drive my large gas guzzling truck. I live real close to the riding areas so I would mostly be driving for 10 minutes to the trail head at max 70 km/hr I guess I will try it and find out if I get any tickets from mr law ! I was thinking about putting a strap on the clutch lever while towing, and yes no reversing the car !!!
  3. No ?? great then ... I'm off ! cheerio ! (can't seem to be able to post the pic directly...) http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=98593&d=1338496936 http://www.bcsportbi...92&d=1338496932
  4. Hello I've been having some problems with my gas gas skipping gears. New to the sport and to trials bikes. I got my used bike, changed the transmission fluid (had mineral oil, put ATF DexronIII in). the oil change made the shifting smoother, but it still skips gears when i'm riding. i.e. I start in 3rd gear and sometimes i find myself in 4th or 2nd. I believe one time it even found neutral. I think when I hit bumps it skips a gear up or down. I'm fairly certain I'm not hitting it with my foot by accident. Is this sign of a worn clutch ? Any recommendations ? Thanks
  5. Hello (new here)!!! Bought a used 04 TXT pro 300 to get into the sport ... second day out on the ride I ran out of gas (my auxiliary tank wasn't feeding my main tank due to an air leak), so we poured some fuel in the main tank, fixed the siphon and kept going. At this point the gas was flowing from the aux to the main tank slowly. A little farther up the road on a slight uphill climb it just went full throttle on me and was stuck wide open. I tried to stall it by dropping the clutch and sure enough it just got the wheel spinning at mach 3. Bike on the side, kill switch wouldn't kill the motor, tried plugging the exhaust, still kept going. Between me and 2 of my buddies we managed to kill the engine by standing on the rear brake, and trying to plug the exhaust. this went on for a good minute. Walked the bike to the truck and am about to open it up to see what might have caused this. The throttle wasn't stuck as the cable would spring back and felt like it actuated the carb. I hear if it runs out of gas it does this, but I will take my carb out, clean it and see if the slide is stuck by any chance. I will also make sure there are no kinks in the throttle cable routing. Anything else I need to watch out for ? Thanks
