  1. I'm possibly one the least experienced on here when it comes to maintaining these things but I've just done mine last week... so, at the risk of the blind leading the blind... (I'm sure if anything is incorrect then it'll prompt someone else to jump in!) I used a section (2") of household waste pipe and an exhaust clamp to drive the bushing home. I used a Youtube vid in conjunction with the pdf manual (search for 'Delboys fork seals' or hit this link - ) and it all appears to have gone back together and feels good (not ridden it yet!)The waste pipe is 40mm and the clamp is a 48mm I measured the oil with the tube down in the leg. I *think* I had the tube/leg fully extended when I put the top nut on.
  2. I had the same problems when I got mine last year... I bought the Apico steel plates (about 20 quid) and PJ1 Ultra Light 75W, from BVM and it sorted it right out. ...not sure which did the trick though, as I did both at the same time. Another mod that I'd recommend are the footpegs - I put S3 Hardrock's on mine and they're much better than stock.
  3. WR 450, stolen Sat night (5/1/2013) from Bellfields, Guildford. Engine number: J326E0019486 Chassis number: JYACJ13W000005928 Crime Reference Number: gd13151
  4. Thanks Clay. ..out with the plastic!
  5. Do the s3's bolt straight on, or does tarting up the hangers mean a little fabrication is needed, as per Jimmy's post?

Steve, that's fantastic - thanks very much! Hopefully I'll be back with a happy post next week!
  8. Hello new boy here (and to trials) and am looking at buying one of two apparently 2001 models. However, one has a black (above the swing arm) rear brake caliper and the other appears to be in line behind the swing arm. Could anyone suggest which might be the later of the two models and I'm assuming the preferred bike, given the condition and price are very similar? Thanks in advance.... hopefully my first of many questions!! Cheers riz
