My rear Shock has unscrewed itself from a bowl at the bottom of the shock and theres no thread left so doesn't grip on. So when I lift the bike of the ground the back wheel stays on the ground. I could weld it but that would be a last resort.
I have found a 2003 250 shock in good condition would this just swap straight over. If not is there any way of securing the shock back in to the bowl at the bottom. Just to make it clearer it is the bottom of the shock where the bolt goes through the shock to secure it.
Sorry for the explanation . I am only 12 and am useless whith shocks/suspension.
My rear tyre has a puncture. It takes about 2-3 hours to deflate. The air does not come from the tyre. It comes from the spokes and valve. What should I do?
found out that the bottom of the shock was not connected to the linkage.ther seems to be some kind of thread on the bottom of the shock that screws into somthing .
Have just been out on my bike today and when I was lifting the back round to put in the shed I noticed when you lift the back up the bike goes up but the rear wheel stays on the ground untill lifted quite high.
