  1. i have just put a dunlop tubeless tyre on the rear of my ty 175 and had no problems at 8 psi but i am using two rim locks instead of one, michelin tubeless tyres should be fine but they have quite a soft sidewall which makes them a bit of a pain to seat on the rim properly
  2. hi there you are spot on with your diagnosis of a blown crank seal, easy enough job to do just make sure you have a impact driver to get the screws off that hold the stator. cheers ash
  3. a long shot but try another plug cap,i had a similar problem, good spark, fuel etc changed the plug cap and that sorted it
  4. the ty isnt quite trial ready yet,got a bit of fettling to do,tyres brakes etc and my size 11 boots arent getting along with the original ty footpegs, might pop up on sunday to have a look though, ive noticed that there is another trial on the 24th of feb should be ready for that one.
  5. by what you are describing it sounds like its pulling in air from somewhere, possibly crank seal does it run any better with the choke on whilst riding? cheers ash
  6. hi all just got back into trials after a 5 year break and bought myself a little ty 175 to play on,while my very poorly beta techno sits in the shed awaiting attention so will probably be needing some info when it gets started in the new year.i hope all have had a very good christmas and a happy new year to everyone. cheers ash
