I have a gas gas txt pro 2005. I have recently changed the fan motor ( Which still works plugged into a separate power source) but it only lasted one ride before the fan will not cut in! it works a bit if you rev the engine really high.
I have tried joining the two wires of the thermostat together to no avail and have tried a method shown elsewhere on this forum to replace the rectifier to a cheap one (i know i know :-) )
Has anyone got any ideas as to how best problem solve this situation without replacing both all of the components? Past experiences may help.
I have naturally ran the spark plug in my 2005 txt pro 250 that came with the bike NGK BPR6ES, after looking at the manual online i have noticed this says run BPR5ES.
I know the difference is heat range but should I use the 5?. Also could this be the reason for a smoky bike ( even with a fully cleaned system, running good fuel with low mix).
I have lots of play in the rear suspension of my 05 txt pro, i have changed the linkage kit and understand i need to replace the "rose" joint/ bearing. I have been quoted
Yes it is an all balls kit! Thanks for your reply, it is good to know i'm not going mad. Just need to get a bearing for the shock for a decent price as splat shop quoted
I am fairly new to trials bikes ( 6 months experience) and have stripped my gas gas pro 250 to replace the linkage kit, everything is replaced except i have one bearing spare ( 7 in the kit) i have replace the four in the dog bones and two in the swing arm connection. Does anybody know where the seventh is? The bearing in the bottom of the shock is also gone but is different.
