Hi, bought a 250 pro last week. I then purchased front and rear sprockets as they needed changing. I've bought front 11 tooth and rear 42 tooth thinking that was already on the bike. I've checked the bike and the front is 10 and the rear is 42. If I go up by one tooth on the front what difference will this make to the ride of the bike? And do I need a 102 link chain or longer? Ok thanks il have a look into it. Safe to ride or not really? Also as I'm not sure if it's been changed shall I just change the full kit? The guy I bought it off said he had ATF oil in before so I've used dextron 2 . I drained and refilled twice before I refilled with clean oil and in 15 minutes it was creamy like milkshake. Also I changed the coolant and when I dropped it hardly any came out so much be that seal?

Thankyou for all your input and advise il stick with ATF DEXTRON 2 for now and try dextron 3 another time and see what I think is better. Ben.

Hi. Basically I've serviced my bike this week and change the oil with atf dextron 2 and started it up and the oil went in nice clear red colour. Was out today and I've noticed that the oil had gone a strawberry milkshake colour :/ is this what atf dextron 2 does or do I have a problem with water getting into my oil. If so what's the fix please. All help is much appreciated. Ben.

Hi. I've purchased a gas gas 250 txt pro 2004. Basically I've heard so many different types of oil that can be used. People are saying, 10w40, 5w30, ATF Dex2 or Dex3. Also I've heard don't use any synthetic based oil, I've checked my manual and it says to use 10w40. So i called my nearest trials garage and the recommend synthetic oil. I'd like an answer to my confusion please. I've bought ATF Dextron2. Thankyou ben.
