crankcase breather drips oil occasionally. the rubber pipe appears to go into crankcase..its had new main bearings and new set of crank gaskets.. its only a drip here and there
hi my 2003 sherco 250 when running has a small slow drip comim out of small hole under water pump casing.iv heard this is probably.seal failing..also I filled radiator to spout. .could there b too much water which is why its drippin.
hi does anyone know about replacing the oil seal behind the fromt sprocket. .just noticed a few drops after every ride. Please don't tell me I have to split the engine halves. just put it back together after main bearing replacement. . was hoping I can somehow pop it out and press new one in. It'a 2004 model
its had new seals fitted..if it was leaking pressure into clutch/gear box area..how would it run..coz it runs sweet now..dare i run it t see if it stops dripping.
thanks..all back together now..runs sweet.. BUT first few minutes of engine runnin it started driplin oil out of the gearbox breather pipe..theres defo not too much oil in.. any ideas
hi guys iv just put my sherco 250 2004 back together after having the crank bearings replaced,.iv just fired it up for first time.sweet as rolls royce..only the crank case breater pipe drips oil,,im assuming this isnt good..any ideas?..
thanks for help.iv got down t literally splittin casing halves but there is absolutely no play on crank shaft whatsoever..so do I leave alone and just put back together..iv got a suspicion that the guy I bought it off wasnt usin amy 2 stroke oil..if I split it do I need t remove the gear shifter shaft or can I split..seems bit tight t split.iv removed everythin except gear shifter..
sherco 250..2004 runs normal but makes a sort of a rough moaning noise constantly...not a rattle,,more a drone.. as if no oil in..but there is..any ideas. ive geen told perhaps crank bearing..is it big job..expensive.. thanks any help would be appreciated
