    Thanks Bilks, Gas Gas have sent the wrong part! The quadrant type fits onto a spline which the full circumference one doesn't have

    Hi, Recently purchased a 2004 Txt Pro 249. My son has managed to shear the engagement gear on the kickstart. Contacted Gas Gas and they have sent up a new gear but my old gear was the quadrant style and the new one sent is the full circumference style. Are they compatible? I did go online and ordered by the part number as per the Gas Gas manual, so not sure if this is an upgraded version? Thanks in advance
