  1. Check your breather pipes arent blocked and float level is correct. What have you done to the carb lately? I doubt a cracked body, the airscrew is above the fuel level and the fuel would run out the overflow before getting as high as the airscrew.
  2. Hi, thanks jordi. The ebay ones are made from a roll of galvanised fencing wire and will bend very easily. The proper ones , being a tempered steel will be like a coiled spring at the top and always grip the card and not bend when hit. Still looking! Anybody else's club use the factory made ones?
  3. Still looking for these trials marker pins,- any more ideas or the name of a club that uses them? Thanks again.
  4. Yes, he plain wire ones would be easy to make but the proper ones are 3mm steel which has been tempered a bit like spring steel to resist bending when hit. - try straightening out a factory made one and you will see what I mean. This is also why the coil on the top retains its strength as a springy clip. Someone must have bought these recently, there are thousands out there. Anyone help? Just to recap, trials marker pin, approx 450-500 mm long, 3mm steel wire with a 50mm loop on top to clip a card in. Need around 200. Where did you get yours from, and a supplier contact number or email address would be great. Cheers guys.
  5. We decided not to use the flg type as the wire is very thin and there is risk of injury if a rider should fall face down on one. The ones we are looking for have a 50mm ring on the top which is just about impossible to get impaled on. All suggestions welcome, keep trying guys!
  6. Thanks guys but we are looking for around 200 for the club. The Castrol ones were around 50p each and made of a tensile steel material which are durable with some resistance to bending. The AMCA sold them at one time but apparently not now. They must have got them from somewhere. Plain wire is ok up to a point but the springyness is needed for the clip part at the top and they need the tensile strength to push in to hard ground. Any more ideas please? I am hoping a club has got hold of some recently and can tell me from where. Thanks again.
  7. Hi guys, first time on the forum and here for help! I need a quantity of trials marker pins, the ones made out of 3mm wire about 450-500 mm long with a 50mm coil on the top in to which you can clip a card. A while ago I had some from Castrol but lost the contact number for the marketing dept. If anyone has it it would be a great help or alternatively anywhere else I can get some from. Anyone bought any recently? Thanks!
