  1. Well my ten peneth worth..... I'm sort of in the same position, anything I buy will be more than capable than I am, but I fancy something new and shiny and at the cutting edge of development, so iv been looking at new Sherco ST300's.

I tend to keep my bikes so I see it as a long term investment that I will "grow" into.

It's only £300 more than the 250 too so I kinda think one bike to learn and develop my skills on.

  2. Thanks for the welcomes chaps, indeed i may stop when I get to 20 I still hanker after a hyabusa and a big adventure bike too.

His balance is fantastic, watching him on his pedal cycle is amazing, so I don't doubt he will quickly and easily surpass me!

I'd love to pop along to that but I'm in the process of building a shed / workshop / storage facility so really need to get on with that, but thanks for the heads up.

Ouiran you are the 2nd person to mention Earls Shilton so I will look into that, Victory Fields is approx 5 miles from my house and I have been to watch trials both up there and at their Napton site.

Boxing Day trial sounds a great one to pop along to.

I haven't actually got a trials bike as yet but am planning on ordering one early new year as a late xmas present to myself .

  3. Hello!

I found this place after a quick google on tinternet so thought I best sign up and say Hello. (Worked for Adele!)

Iv been into bikes since I was a little kid, starting in the field at 9yrs old on an old DT125 then doing my CBT at 16 and full test at 17.

Iv ridden most diciplines (mostly road based) and currently own 10 bikes, ranging from an R1 through a KTM525 to a mini moto and some mopedathon racers, but trials is the one thing iv never done, I was an avid fan of kickstart as a kid and my oldest brother had a TY175 years back.

Last year I bought my youngest (he is 6) a little beta 50 as a step up from the PW50 he was riding, so have decided I'm now too going to take the plunge so I can ride out with him and finally after all these years see what it's all about.

I look forward to getting to know you all, and no doubt annoying you all with my newbie questions.
