Does anybody has a simple solution on a worn out rear brake pedal?
The axel welded on the pedal is a little worn out, and also the chassis is.
Honda didn't use a bearing in it, i gess more tlr owners had this problem.

My story,
In 2002 i buogth my last 2-stroke, a gasgas txt 280pro, a super licht machine.
A sayed to myself, the next must be a 4 stroke just because, like written before, sentimental yougth memorys.
I always liked the smooth sound and power, but never could buy one.
Then i heard the news of a brand new 4-stroke montesa.
I wanted to wait a year or two, to the bike would be technical perfect and buy one.
Two things that i don't like about the bike: the price is to high, and, more important,it sounds like a havy off-road, and not like the bike Eddy lejeune's.
At this point i have already sold my GG, so there was no way back.
Now i am restoring a TLR 200, as it is the best alternative, even if it costs a lot of monny.
Why is it more expensive then the others? Just ride it and you know.
I do like Montesa's old bikes but the sound is whats keeping me from that.
My bike is not finished yet, but i can see myself riding it.
Not a lot of noise, sigar in my head, and enjoy the feeling in my bike.

Hi Brian,
From where are you?
I am going to help you.
Partnumbers fore a 87 Reflex Piston 13101-KJ2-010
and piston rings 1304-446-811.
If they are not diliverable i think you can put the one from a 86 reflex ( and TLR) also. Partnumber for a 86 Reflex Piston 13111-425-000 and
Pistonrings 13011-446-811
I think the of a 86 one fits also, because the cilinder is the same.
price in the Netherlands 105.- Euro's.

I can't find i anymore.
But what i fond is this, http://www.japmcdismantlers.co.nz/honda.htm
I think it looks nice .

Very nice bike.
How does the WES exhaust sounds?
Does it makes more nois then the original.
I ordered the same one, thats before i saw the REP one.
I think the rep looks nicer because its shorter.
So i think i am going to shorten te Wes if its possible.
What kind of rearshocks do you have, and where did you get them?

Hello,
I am a new honda TLR200 driver.
After riding good Montesa's ( 2x 348 and later a 311model) i ride some new gasgas bikes, the txt280 and the TXT280Pro 2002 model.
This is the point that i didn't like trials no more.
2 hours driving means 4 hours get youre bike fixed for the next ride.
I sold my bike because i did not like i anymore.
Suddenly i fond my dreambike fore sale.
A TLR200 in a not to bad condition.
I always wanted this bike bacause its a trial, its a fore stroke whit an amazing sillent smooth sound, and it a Honda.
I am going to strip i down an rebuild it new.
New piston-valves-camchain-exhaust, and what ever it takes to build my dream completly new.
Before stripping it down, i made a testdrive.
Boy, that was amazing, my old ridingstyle was comming back on my again.
Because of the foodpegs are placed to the back, it feels realy light on te front.
I can make 180 turns uphill around a tree, that i could not do whit my gasgas.
So the mony i must spent to make the bike perfect is worth every euro.
If anyone have any tips for me, please tell my.
You can follow the project on my fotoalbum:

just copie the link in explorer.
Sorry for my bad langage,i from the Netherlands.
Thanks, Rob.
