  1. Hi Brim, Indeed a heavy boot was applied, it wasn't however mine!!!!! All sorted now so nothing to cry about. Tim
  2. Hi, I have a Cota 310 that although a little tired now it has served me well over the years providing many hours of fun. Unfortunately the kick start gears have now failed. Some of the gears are still available from Montesa but the prices are very high. As I say this bike isn't in the first flush of youth and although I love to put it back together it's a little hard to justify more than a couple of hundred pounds for three gears. I'm told these are common to 304, 307, 309 & 310(obviously) bikes and that the gears from an earlier 242 could also be made to fit. Has anyone any contacts for people who might be breaking such bikes? Thanks Tim McKie
  3. Hi, Sent you a PM, I also have a 310 and maybe able to help with pictures and photocopies of the parts book etc.... Tim
  4. Hi, Found the answer to my own question in the aircooled monoshock section, hidden behind a question about a Cota 309, looks like I might have her back together sooner rather than later. Tim
  5. Hi, Finally getting around to putting my old Cota 310 back together. Would anyone happen to know the grade of oil I should be using in the gearbox? also how much does the gearbox take? Thanks Tim
