  1. You are 100% wrong ....why would you not actually take 5 minutes and see how easy it is to remove the battery? Let me tell you that it takes 30 seconds to remove ... There are three tie down bolts to remove the pack. It cannot be made any easier in my opinion. Secondly, let me just give you quick 101 .... Lithium based batteries generally have no problem to be stored in low temps (hence you see EV cars stored outside in -20C, yet they continue function without a problem). They will not degrade because of it. But .... if one day you hop on a bike and start riding when it's less than +10C outside, and you do it often enough, over time, the battery will suffer from degradation after all. So, you can keep it outside, but bring it inside, so temp rises to above 10C, ideally 20-25C, the night before you ride .... that's all.
  2. How difficult could it really be for EM to size the powertrain incl. battery correctly for such racing? I cannot see how this decision be based on technical reasoning. Otherwise, what would be exactly the technical reasons in regards to the powertrain? .... if anything, perhaps it's the lack of reliable mechanical clutch which is often mentioned as necessity to perform on highest level?
  3. Without knowing at ll how the battery was treated since new .... anything is just a speculation. People who refuse to learn how to treat the batteries, are the ones who always run into problems. The battery will not get out of its comfort zone on its own ... if someone needs to replace it prematurely, it's most likely by their own fault.
  4. Hi, I just purchased the bike recently and have a ton of fun with it. Only nagging issue so far is a clunking noise. I would guess it's coming from the front fork, because as I was focusing on determining where it comes from, I could link to the time when going at speed over roots, as if the fork was quickly rebounding to the maximum extended length. It almost feels that there's no top-off springs, but rather like a metal bushing would hit a metal stopper lip in the tubes. I am running 10psi pressure and tried the rebound setting everywhere from min to max without any positive impact on the issue. Bike is in warranty, but dealer is almost 2hrs drive away, so I want to be absolutely sure that it is a problem, rather than some silly thing. Thanks
