There was some footage of trials riding on the History Channel this morning. It was in the Guts And Bolts program. It's great to see so much more coverage lately.
Looks like TMX is a UK publication. Long ways from western USA.
There are only two Monty dealers within 100 miles and they don't stock bikes or parts. I was also hoping that by finding another source, that there would be a greater variety of sprocket sizes to pick from.
Has anyone found any sprockets for other bikes that will interchange on a 2002 Monty? Sprockets for the motocross and trail bikes are much easier to find.
I paid $16.00 plus tax and shipping directly from Boyesen. They are in the USA and so am I. The part number for 1999-2002 Monty is #758. Here's their web site;
I have a 2002 Monty, my first trials bike. I recently changed the reeds to Boyesens for the same reason, to smooth out the low end. They helped quite a bit.
The replys about "which boot is the best" all have positive answeres, so I want to change the question to:
What problems or dislikes have you had with your boots and what improvements would you like??? Things like not being comfortable when new or walking around, buckles breaking, adjusters not holding, soles wearing out quickly, not flexible enough............you get the idea.
