  1. Yes, that was my concern. Iron valves and bronze guides perhaps need this extra amount of oil...
  2. I am the owner of a 1959 tiger cub. I wonder if it is a good idea to fit an oil seal in the guide valves to avoid some oil in the chamber combustion...?. There exist some from Norton with similar interior size. It only needs to mechanize the guide. Does anyone have any idea or sugestions about it? Thanks in advance
  3. Please, someone can provide me the contact of Max Hayes ? (Hondapants offered it but he is no longer available by mail...) Thanks in advanced
  4. Dear all: I plan on replacing the rear shocks in my 1961 tiger cub with original frame. Could someone advise me about the correct length of the shocks ? Thanks in advanced
  5. Therefore I understand that 1.5 yokes "close" the steering and shorten the distance between axles. My tiger cub with montesa forks (parallel yokes, centred axle) feels quite heavy and does not turn very well. From the information that I got, it seems that a Tiger cub with original frame goes better with 1.5 yokes. According to Carl explanation, I guess a more closed steering makes it lighter in front and facilitates turning...
  6. Please forgive my ignorance... but do you mean it make it 20mm longer between axles?
  7. I recently got a 1961 tiger cub. Unfortunately the front fork comes from a Montesa. I would like to go to scottish pre 65 2 days trial. Which front fork can I get suitable for this trial ? I read something about marzocchi hydraulic fitted into an original forks ?... Thanks in advanced
