  1. Garnes All-Terrain. Adjustable buckles makes all the difference. More expensive, but worth it for a proper boot that'll fit. My 19" calves fit in on the smallest setting.
  2. Thanks for the info. My calves are 19"and I usually take a EU 44 or 45. I just measured, bare foot on the floor, 13" goes to the thickest part of my calf. I'll definitely have a look.
  3. Spoke to the chaps at Trials UK, they said the Gaernes are the ones with the most space for big calves. I tried my size and one size up, still can't close them. Back to an enduro boot or a really short adventure boot.
  4. Forma Boulder are no go. If I go up 2 sizes, the foot is loose and the hole size is not much different. Next stop is Adventure boots. 2 buckles, below to calves. Alt-Bergs are to pricey for me just now.
  5. @majesty thanks for the offer, but I'll pass just now. Need to be able to return them if the don't work out.
  6. Thanks for the replys everyone. I'd like a proper boot, so will give the Forma a try, if those don't work, I'll definitely look into the Alt-Berg ones.
  7. Hi Majesty. Thanks for the offer I have 19" calves, compared to yours, do you think they would fit?
  8. Thanks for the replies. Already saw that article. Well I've tried the Gaernes, so looks like Forma are next. I'll let you know how it goes.
  9. Hi all. Enduro rider giving trials a go. I have large calves and can't find boots to fit. I'm a size 9 shoe, so a 10 boot. Just tried Gaerne Pro Balance, size 10 and 11(UK sizes) can't close the boots. I can get the straps closed, but theres the gap between the buckle side and strap side. Also very tight around the top with on half the velcro on. I'm not competing, just social play riding. Any ankle high boots I could use? Any recommendations welcomes. Thanks.
