  1. hi there, i got mine done at a place called "jetbore" just outside wolverhampton. i know this isnt near leeds, but they'll send a courier for it and deliver it back to you. they got me a new piston, rings, small end bearing and bored and sleeved the cylinder for
  2. thanks for the advice guys. would have done it yesterday but my little end bearing wont fit in the new piston so iv got to source another one tomorrow. hopefully it will be running in time to use it next saturday. Jimbo
  3. cheers mat, I dont have any manuals for my bike so thats been a great help. Its an 01 txt 125 so hopefuly there wont be much difference in the torques. A job for saturday i think. Cheers jim
  4. hi there, does anyone know if the allen bolts on the top of the cylinder have to be torqued down. If so does anyone know what they need to be torqued to. Also what torque do the nuts need to be that connect the barrel to lower casing. cheers jimbo
  5. hi there, iv checked all the electrics and they all seem fine. i think im getting to much fuel, and the plug maybe getting to wet. the adjustment screws are where they were when it was running. any ideas cheers
  6. Hi there, I have a 2001 txt 125 that just wont start. The problem happend the other weekend when i was out. It just cut out as i was going along a flat field. Iv done everything i can think of, Cleaning the airbox and filter, Stripping and cleaning the Carb. Changing the plug, putting a new HT lead on and new plug cap. But all of this has had no effect. Im Getting a spark and getting plenty of fuel into the cylinder( maybe to much?). Iv altered the adjustment screw on the carb but this has had no effect. If anyone has got any suggestions i would be most grateful. James
