  1. im getting second hand repsol ptb this week. can anybody give me advice on set up or recommend any good maps to use. ideally i would like the bike to be slightly softer of 1st part of throttle but with more mid range and top end. it is a standard 06 bike at the moment but might have mitani front pipe fitted shortly. any opinions on mitani front pipes do they make much difference to power ?

  2. Dan did'nt see the Drewitt Replica was out already, will have to ring Kempy Monday morning to see if I can book one if available :thumbup: dont mind waiting abit longer, it looks the B*****ks, and yer ralph might have to PX the misses to afford the Caber rep :(

    Copemech, lots of people have told me this week that the 250 might not suit me and its easier to tame the 290 than try and get more out of the 250, time will tell though.

    Dan, have I started a trend for the dishes going blue? Ewers will do his nut if we all go Sherco :)

    the legend is already blue ! he is so tight he will scrounge some red emulsion and just paint his rims to pretend he has a drewitt replica ! mind you the git will still tonk us. unless getting a job has taken it toll

  3. can anyone cast there minds back to when the ty250r / pinky ruled the roost! what were the best mods at the time? ive got a drilled out alloy sprocket guard and a alloy mick andrews tailpipe plus a pad (bultaco type) chain tensioner! /HEBO pegs! thats it? what have you done to yours to make it work/look better? :wall:

    hi scotty. the barrel can be modded to 270 and the hot mod was to shorten reed block. also good idea to remove wieght from outside of flywheel. i also made brackets to lower footrests and converted rear wheel to tubeless with disc brake useing old style gasser wheel. still have a few ty parts alloy kickstart gearlever bigger air box etc and gasser wheels if interested
