Thought I would add something I noticed on another forum on this subject, sorry if it was this one and I am just copying someone. The suggestion was to tighten a big rawl bolt into the bearing so that you have something to hit when you try to drift the bearings out from the other side. I know it's not that difficult to do it if you have a decent parallel punch but it can be tricky with a crap one. They said it works great, haven't tried it myself yet but will be in the next couple of weeks!

Thanks Roger, They only have the 06 user manual, but from looking at the parts manuals you can see that the later rev 3's have a different part number from the 2001 for example. I'm pretty sure I've been sold a 2001, had a look at some friends 03,04,05 and 06 models and all are the same as mine, and an 01 I looked at has the one I've been sold. Was just hoping I could figure out the different wiring somehow. I don't suppose anyone out there is selling a later CDI?? Cheers Graham
