Just a quick update on my beast - have installed a full stainless system on my 125 - custom made by the guy who did the first work on the Britten's (or so Im told). Top quality work (see attached pic). The muffler is a bit bigger (sits lower) but so far is no more vunerable than the standard one. Weight is roughly the same - so the maker says.
Performance: First of all - it sounds unreal - better than the agricultural noise the standard one makes. Overall power maybe slightly higher but is now more responsive with much improved top end. Steep hillclimbs are now less daunting but still will not pull second on anything steeper than a disabled wheelchair ramp (also due to 110kg rider).
Overall: Money well spent in my opinion - makes my one-off bike (for Australia) even more unique. Although, the muffler is quite dear so maybe a B&J baffle kit mated to this header would also be good.
Unrelated (to exhausts) - has anyone got maore info about the scorpa tech release about the weak bashplate. How would I get a Narita or Crosswaite strength basher?

PS easy pull lever mentioned in earlier post is a godsend - put the cable in the middle spot for easy pull and it still has good response. The easiest spot is light as a feather but clutch response is heavily affected IMO.
Mike - thanks for your insights into your bike. Just quickly, when you say adjusting the clutch inside the cover - do you mean you removed the excess freeplay?
The said website is www.staintune.com.au. the ttr system is not on ther yet as it is a new product - but has been advertised as a full system (including ttr specific muffler for AUD$680).
Currently Im looking into get the local bike exhaust shop to make some up - maybe more than one - for intersted people. It will be made to be tys125 specific and attatch to the standard muffler and will be stainless. Most likely around AUD$300 (or 125 Pounds).
BTW - im definitly interested in this clutch mod - pls keep me posted.

In Australia my sections usually have up to 3 foot steps, very tight turns with minimal need for trick riding and no need for splats. (sorry for vagueness)
Just received my 125 yesterday - the first and only one in Australia - quite a nice little bike. I did as Brian R suggested and purchesed the adjustable lever - extremely light pull now but very slow clutch engagement - makes it difficult to "punch" up rocks and banks - if that makes sense.
Has anyone tried anything else - hydraulics etc. I would like the same clutch engagement as standard but just a lighter lever pull.
Also on the header - we have a mob down here called staintune (cant remember website) who make stainless headers for ttr125 - the local Yam dealer said it looked as though it would slot straight on, but I cant try one to check.
