  1. Not an easy one to diagnose. Have you checked the kill button is not shorting to ground. Generally the ign system is very reliable, no chance of getting any wires mixed up was there.

    Best thing is to check it out against another similar bike.

    i`m only thirteen and don`t know too much but my only hope is to get info

    off you guys,so anybody else with any thoughts on it.

  2. hi all, can anybody help me out, the problem i have is that last night i was riding the bike and

    a wire for the fan became disconnected and the bike blew the coolant hose off the top of the

    motor at wich point i returned home and let the bike cool down naturally,today the wire has been

    re-connected but there is no spark at all ,i`ve checked every other wire etc and all seems to be in order,

    changed the plug,no good, removed plug cap,cranked it over with finger over end of plug lead, not even the slightest

    bit of a tickle. i was thinking perhaps the coil has gone up the shoot.

    any advice or help muchly appreciated.

  3. was having a savage time with my 290 and my boy was being tushed all over the place

    geared it down with a 9t front and a 48t rear sprocket ,never messed with the timing etc

    now we can blast it at anything and not get seriously in the ***** cause it is a lot more

    controllable cause of the slower speed with the same power delivery. i love it to death. ggb

  5. hi there, i`ve got a txt 50 with a few problems,they are as follows:-

    1, after a bit of work the water is being pushed out of the overflow . is it because there is no fan on the bike or has the head gasket gone?

    2,the delay between opening the throttle and actually getting forward motion is very difficult to deal with. should it be virtually instant or should there be a long delay?

    3, the suspension is very very soft. should it be or is there a way of changing the oil back and front?
