  1. Thank you.. I had watched it previously and it's a bit too grainy to see which way the bearing is facing. I spoke to his partner Jesse and we came to the conclusion that the metal side goes against the backing plate.
  2. The needle bearings are exposed on one side only. I did not take note on disassembly. Do the bearings roll on the tappet or the backing plate... Thank you in advance.. Jeff
  3. '98 TX270 purchase last week. I removed the clutch cover to add oil and found the fiber squeezing out the side of the pressure plate. Remove the pressure plate and found the fiber in four pieces. Any aftermarket brands recommended for this model? I'll begin my Google search after posting. Thank you all in advance!

    Just purchase this trials bike this evening and trying to figure out model It did start on first kick but was unable to ride it. Would only continue to fire on 1 sec intervals at wide open throttle with heavy smoke. So just.. pop..pop..pop.
