  1. Aren't trials, enduro bikes and agricultural vehicles exempt from type approval? This is why we can register bikes which don't conform to usual vehicle regulations. Thanks Im getting the bike tomorrow Got the V55 form that the dealer issued which is stamped both by the dealer and the importer. Got a Mot Monday morning [can
  2. im going to stick to the mikuni,as i said there are no problems whatsoever with it,bike runs really nice, just heard people going on about the dellorto and how they change the response of the bike and i was a bit curious.i had the mikuni on my old techno too with no problems and my mate now has it,still no probs with it
  3. thanks for the advice mate ill probably stick to the mikuni then,as i said no probs at all bike runs as smooth as,when i first bought the bike there was a bit of a leak only on very steep hills but i could always start it pointing up or down hill,i cured that problem by setting the float and adding the float bowl extension and putting a piece of fuel pipe about 4 inches long from the small brass pipe on the bottom of the carb and point it upwards, now i dont have one drop of fuel coming out of anywhere
  4. i see most people on here talking about the dellorto carb and how good they are,ive got a dellorto that was taken off my old 95 techno, the local bike shop told me at the time that they were no good and convinced me to fork out for a new mikuni which i did,but made no difference to the bike.the numbers on the carb is phbh26 cd,its got the adjustment screws on the correct side as well as the choke lever, can anyone shed any light on the subject,as to is this the same carb everyone is on about,if not would this make any difference to my rev 3 over the stock mikuni.it came off a 250 techno and my new bike is a 270 rev 3 thats had the float bowl mod and the floats set,and i dont have any fuel leak problems or any starting problems pointing up or down hill, cheers
