Thanks for that Blocky. I was thinking along the lines of additives that can be added to the fuel/oil mix? Also in the manual the gear box oil is reffered to as '20w/30'. I've been to Halford etc and cant find anything similar. Can anyone advise what gear oil should be used. A guy i spoke to said that the 2 stroke engine oil used to mix with the fuel can go straight into the gear box??? Sounds like an expensive mistake to make????

Hi, i bought a 98 Techno last week. It has pretty loud piston slap on start up and it doesn't get an awful lot quieter once its warm. Does anyone know of any remedies, apart from replacing all the parts?
