  1. My 4rt offers no resistance from the throttle its just too light for my liking, I would prefer an action like an old bike pulling up a heavy slide against a big spring.It has a long pull throttle tube which also concerns me as i find it hard to get full throttle at times although I seldom need full throttle.But I fell i may get in more trouble if the throttle action is too quick although its not a hard or expensive mod to do anyone got any ideas what are you guys using ?

Hi I have just removed my bashplate as I was doing oil and filter and the rubber piece fell off didnt appear to be stuck at all so I am unsure of it position.I looked in the handbook for to see if i could get some pointer and have put where I assume it goes but looking in the book it has a rear rubber and that is long gone.My questions are 1/do these serve any purpose other than collecting mud and crap ? 2/should i replace the rear one? (I bet its a bloody silly price) And finaly where exactly do they go and should I stick them with somthing ? Thanks in Advance Paul

Just done mine today for first time its simple new gasket was just over 3pound filter was just a tenner for genuine.It is fiddly to get past the flywheel but replacing it was easy I used greese on the spring to hold it in place and oiled orings(I used new here alsobut sure you could reuse them) the big one you need to make sure it goes in square and dosnt pinch.I also had to lower my bashplate to help remove the sidecase hope it helps you

  4. After a silly mishap today I broke my rear guard (no I didnt flip it ) to be honest it snapped way to easy so what are my options.Anything aftermarket with more flex and at a better price ? Im uk based does anyone know the price of a genuine guard of the top of there heads ? Many Thanks Paul

Hi I have just bought myself a 4rt which I am real happy with but i have a few niggling things.1st the clutch bit grabby on and off action I think first I will just change oil so whats best.Also my boss who knows his stuff reckons the bike is too quick for me and I should tame it down with gearing what do the majority of you lesser riders use ? As far as i can tell the bike is 100% stock I just need to give it a good service oil and filter and new airfilter etc what do you use for air filter oil ? I use twin air for my nephews mx bikes and have been told this is a no no in trials. Thanks in advance for any help or advice you give sorry if i have repeated boring questions TA Paul
