Anyone know what requirements are need to make a bike road legal?
is it just speedo, horn, number plate, tax, mot and insurance, or do you need lights and mirrors too??
cheers
-
yeah good point!
maybe i'l just buy one then

think that will be the bike for me when i pass my test looks awsome

cheers shaun
already sorted, my old man does a lot of green laning so i know what i've got to do to make it legal etc.
that's partly why i'm not sure which bike to choose as it need the bike to be road legal, also i've not passed my test yet hence only being able to ride a 125cc
cheers anyway though mate

well i'm not that experienced so i guess i wouldn't know any different with the clutch if i did get one, and it would seem there are a few things i could try if i dont get on with it
thanks for the info fellas

yeah i know the "which bike is best " question is a bit of s stupid one as its all personal choice, just after some opinions to see if there were any common thoughts / faults on the bikes, for now i guess my riding will be a mix of comps and green laning which is kind of swaying me more towards the scorpa , but i'm sure as i get into it a bit more i'l want a beter comp bike.
ahh, the agony of choice!
cheers for your info jaylael

cheers jaylael
i'm only a begginer so i'm not overly worried about super hot section performance, (i'm sure it will be me not the bike that lets me down lol) saying that i would be a bit hacked off if i did out grow the scorpa quickly, dont have miles of road work planned, just there are q fair few green lanes etc close to my gaff which would make for a good couple of hours riding every now and again,
wold like to test ride them both but cant find a 125 beta in my area
-
i'm looking at either of the above as my first bike to do some local comps on but also want to use it for a bit of green laning, obviously i'd have to fit he long range kit to the beta and do some other mods to make it road legal but he scorpa long ride wouldn't need much work.
anyone got any advice on either as to which would be more suitable? or whch is the better bike?

looking at getting the ty 125 f (long ride) as my first bike want it to do some local comps on and to do a bit of green laning as well
how do people rate them for this any problems??
also does the cable clutch cause any problems, i've heard that it can be a bit of bugger for modulation, this true or just a bit of clutch snobery! lol
cheers,

cheers man, good to actually see a bike with the kit on it,
looks like i've got a choice between the scorpa and a rev 125 anyone know of any problems or advantges of either?

hi
new to he forum so prorbaly shold have intoduced myself on the other board but never mind.
need some advice on bike choice,
just done my cbt and am looking for a bike to ride and do a bit of green laning on, also joined the local club as i'm keen to do some comps etc, only trouble is i cant really afford two bikes, anyone got any suggestions as to a good bike that i could do a few green lanes on locally but still ride at local comps? looked at the usual Yamaha DTR and honda XR etc but they're not excatly trials friendly are they, just wonderd if anyone could sugest something more trials orientated? needs to be 125cc
cheers, Tom
