  1. That's funny, so do I ! I live in Bednall. Where do you ride? I'm looking for somewhere local even though I have joined a brilliant club already, it would help me practice weekly rather than whenever I can.
  2. Cheers Ratman
  3. I think I heard it was 550ml, can anyone confirm this?
  4. Can someone tell me how much transmission oil to put in a Rev3 please? I haven't got a manual, I'm covered in oil and my teas going cold. Cheers
  5. Just wondered if anyone was on here from Stafford or close to Stafford.
  6. I have had teriffic service from Feetup trialsport, Alan there is brilliant for good advice because he always takes the time to give his best input and he always sends parts to me next day if I order by about 2pm . I got my plastics off him. He doesn't sell online but after all it's only a phone call Here's his number 01723 865577. Well worth the call.
  7. Fortunately I have had my bike set up today by a very handy bloke and I feel like it isn't too much for me now and the gearing is fine. A mate adjusted the clutch and it sorted out the snappyness and he sorted a couple more issues out in the process. It felt like a completely different machine after some tiny little tweeks. I can't wait to get back on it next weekend.
  8. Thanks for that copemech, I'll give it a whirl and let you know how I get on. I'm using the bike at the weekend so I'll start Monday.
  9. I'm a retarded novice
  10. OK, I've done the slow throttle, I'll do the rear sprocket (what do you think) and how do I adjust the timing copemech? Thanks for the input by the way.
  11. Ok I've got the 44 and 9 sprocket, any advice before I go head first and change it? Actually can someone tell me how to do it before I go and put the heating on the garage?
  12. I got the DVD in the post a couple of days ago, it's brilliant.
  13. I'm new to bikes and wondered what most people do as a general routine regarding bike cleaning, any tips would be appreciated. I know it sounds like a simple question but you never know, some peoples idea of a good thing could be a bad thing in other peoples eyes.
  14. Thanks Guys, Just one more thing, I was told by a mate today that Shercos are said to have a "snappy" throttle which is difficult to control for a beginner like me. Does anyone else agree? If so is there anything I can do about it apart from a slow throttle?
  15. Could anyone advise me on what setup I should go for on my Sherco 250 please, I'm 14 stone 8lb. Cheers
  16. Thanks everyone for your input, I'll take it all on board. I have a field which I can do the flat stuff on so I'll practice my turns tommorrow. The weight on the outside peg makes sense
  17. Hello Guys, I've just started trialling after spending a few years racing cars and I've got a big hang up telling me that I'll never be able to trial. I haven't ridden a trial bike before and it seems totally different to a road bike or Motorcross bike. I feel like I need to control the power with my clutch for one. Can anyone tell me where you went wrong and how did you get it right? Cheers Dean
  18. I went there on Saturday for a beginners training day, it's a great place and everyone seemed really helpful and friendly even to a complete novice like myself who hadn't been on a bike before. 10 out of 10.
