we were told about a place called Kinnerton (?) North Wales? I think it is the Kinnerton near Broughton just off the A55 heading into Wales? Does anybody know exactly where it is seen as Cowm is 4x4 this weekend??? Cheers.

Cheers for all the advise guys. Looks like itl just be Cowm and an occasional trip to Hawks Nest then unless we can get to the practice days at Alvanley. How often are they held and are they regular? Weathers looking promising for a good day at Cowm on Sunday anyway!!!

Im from near Warrington but we dont mind travelling to find decent places. Ellesmere Port and North Wales are well within our reach. Any more info on Alvanley or Wern Ddu?

Anybody know any good spots to ride in the Northwest area? We have ridden at Cowm (awesome) and Hawks Nest. Just wondering if anybody knows of any other good areas to ride?? We have a little spot near us but it is not very challenging and can get bother from the cops! Thanks for any help guys!

Just wondering if anybody knows if you can adjust the rear brake pedal to bring it higher up so it is nearer your foot? I want to start using my rear brake while riding but its too low down and i have to concentrate harder to reach it than i do on where im riding. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I think a trip down on Saturday might be on the cards, take it Saturdays are included in 'open all the time' ? Im sure youv all had this discussion loads of times but its a pity there arent more places open to practice! We have a place we go local to us but theres nothing that challenging and you get bored of the same stuff everyweek. Cowm is about 45 mins drive and Buxton is about an hour so they arent too bad. Are there any other good practice areas between the 2?? Thanks again for all your help guys.

Just wondering if anybody knows when Hawks Nest is open and if there is a contact number for the guys who run it to find out on the day? Me and a few mates are thinking of coming up on Sunday but dont want to make the trip if its not open!!! Is the terrain there challenging? Have ridden at Cowm and absolutely loved it, some great sections there and had the best days riding ever! Iv also read its only
