  1. It's loads better now I have got all the sand out of the airbox and cleaned carb out! Still running hot though, radiator has loads of orrible crap in it. Previous owner had not used any antifreeze. Melon. Anyone got a favourite radiator flushing mixture?

    Anyone used the Tsubakis? I really rate them on the road bikes.
  3. More importantly, did you get it on video? :-P B40RT, why do you say synthetic will make motor wear out quicker? That isn't what I or any of my friends have found from doing a hell of a lot with various airC and LC strokers. Best we found is silkolene comp 2 (full synth). Interested to know what you have found on the triallies.
  4. P.s mine is a 96 with the dellorto carb with the 100 size main jet (last model with dellorto AFAIK) Got the carb all apart now, the airbox had quite a lot of nastiness in it, probably something to do with it...
  5. I'm almost certain that is not problem with mine, I took the manifold part off and checked the reeds, reassembled with a little RTV sealant on the joint. No change to issue. Only other thing I can think of is the rubber on the airbox, but this looks fine.
  6. Alright all, thought I would pop in and say hello. From Halifax, have a couple of triallies and some others, a scorpa 250 from the late 90's (I think!), and a montesa cota 349. On the road I have suzuki SV650, GSXR750, Yam RD400, cagiva planet. I need a bigger garage TBH! I will be looking to turn up at some meets (when my bikes are in reasonable health!), but I have the slight hindrance of no cage license. So am limited to local stuff... Cheers Chris
  7. Mine has same problem. Symptoms of a blocked pilot jet, but I have cleaned carb out and it is still messing around.
