Hi All - me again

im going to get a new chain. Cant really afford to splash out on theRenthal RI so i'm down to the D.I.D 520 Standard Roller Chain or the Regina 520

Had no problems with Regina chains. Don't get an IRIS. That lasted 6 trials then snapped.

Cheers scragg - yep avoid Iris like the plague after all the horror stories i have read.

Its down to DID and REGINA

I use Regina chains on all my bikes. I did have one fail at the split link though but replaced the link and all is well.

I do think the Renthal chain is the best in terms of resistance to stretching and chain life, but I agree that it is expensive.

If it's any help to your decision, Renthal don't make the chains. Regina make them for Renthal to Renthal's own specification.

Either Regina or DID will be fine, both quality makes.

OH GREAT!

I've just bought a chain and sprocket set for my 315 from BVM, and guess what, they supplied an IRIS chain!

Although too late for this post would strongly recommend a Proper Honda chain, comes the right length. last for ages an costs mid

good choice, regina chains are the best IMO, they have the best tensile strength, every bike I own is equiped with a regina chain

i used an iris and it streched loads. running a renthal now, worth every penny!!!

Renthal ordered today  been using Izumi which have done really well on the Mont, last one stretched quite quick though so not chancing it
