I was kinda thinking of the bottom windings. What is the next step? Can I test them? Can they be repaired,or is it new parts?

Hi all,Ihave a 2000 model 250 beta rev3. The bike starts and runs at low revs perfectly,at about half throttle it starts to missfire,and can't seem to clear itself. I have cleaned the carb which did not help,adjusted the air screw to lean the mixture and it seemed to help a little. I could be wrong,but the bike seems to be running very ritch,but have ho idea what has caused it. Could be a weak spark?? Hope someone can help,many thanks

Many thanks I'll give it a go. I have found that the bike starts fine and runs perfect low down,but it starts to miss and lose power at about half throttle. Could this be caused by unleaded fuel?

I have just bought a 2000 Beta rev 3 (actually paid for a 2001 but have since learnt it's a 2000) I'm having a little bother, firstly the fan aint working, secondly since putting fresh fuel in it it's running like a bag of sh**! Is there a common fault with the fan? What fuel should I use, what ratio,and what oil should I use? Should I use ATF in the gearbox? Will be grateful for any help

Hi there,I'm new to this so hi to everyone. Here we go, I have just bought a 250 Rev 3,the bike has red and black plastics. I was told at 1st that the bike was 2001,then later told it was 2000. Does anyone know how to correctly ID the year of the bike?
