Squirming Rear End

hi all just done a spen trial and i noticed something strange on the bike it seems to squirm side to side when i opened the throttle.checked all the bolts and axles and the tire pressure every thing as it should be.if i grab the back wheel and move it side to side there seems to be a lot of movement no bearing knock could it be the bearings starting to let go i'm baffled

Hamster you really need to find out exactly where the problem is you could start by holding the bike by one handlebar end and rock it side to side very quickly this should show which end of the bike is loose. It could be the head bearings as R2W says or loose engine mount bolts or anything else really so try and find where the problem is then there will be lots of helpful advice on TC.

Let us know what you find.

it could be wear in the rear swing arm bearings .if i rode my bike five miles over the moor with a flat tire (rear) would that knacker the side walls as the tire is about a month old? cheers for all the replies will investigate further
