4rt Front Brake Caliper Leak

Featured Replies

Hi all

anyone had a brake fluid leak, from the front brake caliper.

I noticed some fluid on rim, then on closer inspection, you can see it run from the lower mounting, with front brake held on.

it is a 06 bike five months old, 0 miles.

cheers in advance,

bry.

The same thing happend to a friend's new new Gasgas. The center "O" ring not in the grove. Split the caliper reinstalled "O" ring.

Yes as said check the 'o' ring between the two caliper halves

it has more than likely been pinched if it has been appart

if not it maybe the piston seals you will have to have a

closer look you will soon see!

give your dealer a ring they should have a 6 month warranty on the bike so you should be able to get it fixed for free if not ring sandifords and see what the have to say
