December 13, 200619 yr I know nothing about video cards. Any stand alone USB ones the are affordable and work well? What should I look for in features? I'd like to take VHS and make digital videos. Be able to watch TV. Be able to record TV. Be able to take still shots from the videos.
December 14, 200619 yr I'm in the same boat, but in doing some checking, you can but a DVD recorder for the TV/ Stereo system for less than $200 that you should be able to input all the old VHS tapes into and record. I even seen a flat screen TV at Target for less than $200 but do not know if it will accept computer input probably RCA type video only. Get a TIVO too? Not sure!
December 14, 200619 yr Hi Brian take a look at any of the hauppauge cards they tend to be good value for the money. I would expect to pay
