vaughan Posted December 21, 2006 Report Share Posted December 21, 2006 I just use semi synthetic quite reasonably priced and I change it every 3rd outing, it comes out as clean as it went in and the bike has ran like a dream for the last year and a half. useless Posted December 21, 2006 Report Share Posted December 21, 2006 i have always used 10/40 motor oil in all me road going yamaha 2 strokes gearbox's same in me scorpa, if you change regular you shouldnt have any problems. 10000 miles between changes on road bike so a few trials aint gona tax the oil to its limit now is it. useless Posted December 23, 2006 Report Share Posted December 23, 2006 hey rapid roy if tack a look it says 10000 miles on me road bike, road being the operative word here. for trials id recomend more frequent changes but still use the same oil.
