January 8, 200719 yr Hi there. Has anybody sucssefully re-packed the silencer on their two stroke ? Is it possible to over pack it and so reduce the breathing of the exhaust? What is the best material to use? Where can I get some? Any hints or tips on this matter would be appreciated. The end of the back box IS detachable Thanks Frank

January 8, 200719 yr Hi Frank I repacked my betas exhaust in the summer.I phoned Lampkins to try to get some packing material. I was told by John there only to use approx 3/4 of a bag and not to pack it to tight as this would make the bike run really rough. I ended up buying some from a local bike shop (
January 9, 200719 yr silent Sport make apacking material which is supposed to be brill.....expensive I use....er.......loft insulation on all m WES silencers...sorry dick...change it regularly at 5 quid for a truck load dont overpack it though, thats wot WES says......
