graham Posted March 4, 2007 Report Share Posted March 4, 2007 I crashed my 05 125 pro on rocks on the gear shift. A very gentle crash and found my gear lever moving through 180 degrees. I thought the worse and expected to strip teh bike down at vast expense etc. Not true, good news. remove complete clucth (4mmm allen bolt in centre) behind the cluch is a spring and top hat device. The device has a shear pin in it that snaps under strain. Fit new one, end of problem. DO NOT lossen bolt to remove spring jus twiggle it free. new one comes with spring in correct set up.
