I have ridden a 99 Beta Techno 200, 01 Sherco 290, and just recently bought a 07 Sherco 250. I definantly like my 07 the best. I am a little short (and a light female) and I find that I can get back better and find good traction on the 250. The power is very smooth compared to my 01, but I also put a 9 tooth sprocket on the front. I have never riden a Gas Gas, but I know lots of people have had to do lots of maintenance/ repairs on their GG in years past, but I haven't heard much about their 07.
