May 21, 200719 yr I'm looking to buy a 315, had found what thought to be a nice 2004, but the trans case had a small crack, leaking oil. I have kept looking and found a very low hour 1999, but am wondering if its better to get a newer bike if there were decent upgrades. This will be my first trials bike so the latest greatest probably isn't neccesary. Thanks Bruce
May 21, 200719 yr bruce..... im in the same boat, looking for a monty or a beta ? be the 1st for me to own also.. can the trans case be welded back up ? or check to see about a used lower case ? weet
May 21, 200719 yr Always better to go for a later bike if finances allow in my opinion, assuming the choices are in good condition. I had 98 and 01 Monts in the past and the later bike had significant improvements.
