overthehill Posted September 28, 2007 Report Share Posted September 28, 2007 but all air ambulances in the UK (defiantly all of england and wales) are charity funded, the NHS dosen't fund them in Scotland we take for granted the fact that the nearest hospital may be 100 miles away - that is why the volunteer services are so important - which co-incidentally leads to HERE sorry to keep plugging this but just want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us.
