08 Vibration

Featured Replies

Me mates just bought a brand new 08 rev 3 ,had it a week, anyways first time out practicing it ran really rough ,poppin an fartin, so carb off s**t in pilot jet must av bin from factory no problem. Now he sez theres lots of vibration through footpegs an clutch is noisey. Anyone else experienced this with an 08?. cheers blok :D

Vibration is probably due just to the normal loosening of threads as would be expected on any new bike after a short period of use, exacerbated by Italian build quality. Tighten up the engine bolts, probably the footrest mounts too and it should reduce to normal levels.

if youve got any problems at all with the bike ring the dealer you bought it from up and tell them, they should sort it out for you free of charge, better than messing about yourself and maybe making it worse

No - my 08 250 runs just fab straight out of the box. No vibration or odd noises - the front sprocket/ chain whizzes a bit from 4th up, but nothing else. The dealer will sort you out.
