December 1, 200718 yr Have any of you SWM lads fitted an electronic ignition to your bikes? If so where did you get it from,was it easy to fit,what difference did it make to the bike,cost etc.Any help greatly appreciated
December 30, 200718 yr a reply at long last, but the answer is currently no, for all my SWMs, not yet. after getting a TR240 Beta must admit the idea of fitting a motoplat or similar is very tempting. The priority for an SWM is to move the condensor from behind the flywheel. Interested to know if you are planning an upgrade. Malcolm
December 31, 200718 yr Author Thanks for the reply Malcra - beginning to think that there wasnt anybody out there! I havent had much progress with an electronic ignition as yet. Ive spoken to Martin M and he's looking into it aswell. I presume that your Beta has electronic ignition on it then?Does it make a significant improvement to the bike?Ill keep you posted if I make any progress.Cheers
