December 25, 200718 yr I am going to get a new pair of boots but am not sure what kind. Has any one tried Novogar trials boots? What would be the best choice Novogar or Alpinlite no stop? Thanks for the help Jack
December 25, 200718 yr After yeras of wearing AlpineStars, I've had two pairs of Gars (which last about three years each). I tried on a number of other makes at the Dirt bike show and liked the feel of the Sidi's but couldn't find a pair to buy, so went for the latest NovoGars. These are a lot different to the old ones and Crosser recons that the soles will wear a lot better but they will need to be worn in for a while as they certainly are stiffer than the previous model.
December 26, 200718 yr Sidi zero tan boots for me, light and soft. I just find the alpinestars a bit hard. But as every one else says its a personal thing.
December 26, 200718 yr Best all round for fit and value seem to be the Diadoras, but what ever you go for make sure you go up at least one size from your show size, preferably 2 sizes if they have waterproof socks in.
December 26, 200718 yr Went out and spent loads of money on a pair of Alpinestars, because people said they were the best... NEVER again. Very stiff boots and let the water in at every opportunity. A load of money when I'm sure there are a lot of other makes out there that do a better job for less money - IMO. Matt.
December 27, 200718 yr I have the alpinestars and they wont close properly - so let water in. If you have "thick" calves and ankles - find something else
