I would like to paint my fuel tank a nice bright yellow as used on the later grippers.

I will answer my own question as I found the answer on a Spanish site it is

RAL 1018 Zinc Yellow

Hi, what about the orange 250 TR80 color ?

I've been told the most approaching color is RAL 2000, but before have it painted I would like to be sure it will not look like a caterpillar

Not sure about the original orange which is a bit pale, but RAL2004 is a nice orange which matches the colour of the orange Gonelli mudguards
